A young woman revealed how she faked her own wedding in order to get back at her ex-boyfriend and make him feel jealous.
Sarah Vilard is a 24-year-old business student from Germany who ended things with her then-boyfriend back in 2019.
Rather than letting bygones be bygones, however, the girl decided to get back at her ex just months after their breakup by faking a wedding.
Three months after the couple broke up, Sarah staged her own wedding and hired a professional actor to play the role of her groom. She also organized a wedding photoshoot involving her friends before sharing the pictures on Instagram to tease her ex.
Needless to say, Sarah’s ex wasn’t amazed when he saw the unexpected news on social media, prompting him to message the 24-year-old and demand some answers.
In screenshots of the pair’s conversation, Sarah’s ex is seen asking the student who the guy in the pictures is before attempting to call her.
“He found out through Instagram and texted me the next day and freaked out because he thought I was cheating on him while we were together,” Sarah explained.
“That, of course, wasn’t the case. But he came to my house and wanted to talk to me afterward. I wasn’t interested.”
As she added, the revenge plan left her feeling satisfied, whereas she proceeded by blocking her ex on social media after making him feel jealous.
“I blocked him everywhere and set my profile to private and removed the pictures. Yes, I am single now and super happy about it. I’m happy to be able to focus on myself,” she added.
After Sarah revealed her revenge story on TikTok, internet users were left astonished by the amount of effort and money she had put into getting back at her ex.
While some praised her for managing to make her ex angry and jealous, others suggested she was in the wrong for blocking him and refusing to talk to him after faking a wedding just to get his attention.
