A mother has spoken out and hit back at haters who say hurtful things about her overweight baby and accuse her of child neglect.
27-year-old Anna Jablonska from Poland revealed that her 14-month-old daughter, Skylar, needs to wear clothes designed for 4-year-olds due to her large frame.
The mother also insisted that her daughter simply has a “healthy appetite” and isn’t overfed even though she weighs 39 pounds.
While Anna and Skylar received plenty of positive reactions on social media, they are often also subjected to cruel comments and speculations.
“People say all sorts of things to me, online especially. They say I must be feeding Skylar chocolate and McDonalds but she’s just a growing girl,” the mom insists.
“I was also a chunky baby so I think it must be a genetic thing. My mum said that when I started walking the weight just dropped off me. And now I’m a totally normal size. She just loves breast milk so much and will barely eat real food.
“When she was younger, she would literally sleep on the boob, feeding the whole time. She loves cheese and ham but apart from that it’s hard to get her onto solids.”
As Anna added, her baby was skinny and small at the time of her birth. Pleased with her mom’s breast milk, Skylar then continued to grow and gain weight at an above-average rate.
The mom also hit back at trolls who accused her of feeding her baby junk food saying her baby is mostly eating nothing but her breast milk.
“I love the gym and I eat really good nutritional food. As if I would feed a baby sugar and burgers… it’s madness,” Anna says.
“The comments used to bother me but now I’m immune to it all. I’m doing everything right and my baby needs fuel to grow, simple as that.
“I just don’t read the comments anymore. I refuse to stop posting cute pics of her, I think she’s beautiful.”
