The subject of choosing your baby’s name is definitely not easy and this next family affair proves just that.

One couple claims that they were left fuming after their own brother-in-law opted to steal their baby’s name. And just in case that wasn’t enough, he is now demanding that they come up with another one.

Sharing their family affair on the online platform of Reddit, the couple claims to be furious because they never knew their own loved one would turn his back on them.

The couple began their story by revealing how they’re Irish and that means both the first and middle name carries special importance.

For this reason, the couple, who happens to be in their seventh month of pregnancy opted to make the selection early on.

But with just two months to go, they are left enraged with fury and dumbfounded, thanks to their brother-in-law.

“We chose our son’s first name after my uncle’s name and the middle name would be the same as my grandfather’s. After making the selection, we informed my mother-in-law and brother-in-law”, explained the father.

At first, the brother-in-law was so happy and he told them that he loved the name. But little were they aware of his next move.

Before the couple knew it, the brother-in-law revealed that he and his wife have finalized their child’s name too, who arrived three weeks back.

After finding out the name, the couple was left stunned at the audacity the brother-in-law had. And just in case that drama wasn’t enough, he even ordered them to choose another name for their son as they didn’t want anyone to repeat the same names.
