Grieving Dad Who Struggled With The Tragic Loss Of His Baby Has Passed Away After Being Hit By A Car On Motorway


A grieving father who lost his baby has passed away after he was hit by a vehicle on a motorway.

30-year-old Benjamin Connor from Manchester was struck by a car on the M602 motorway at around 2:30 am on Tuesday and was rushed to a hospital where he passed away from his severe injuries, according to Greater Manchester Police.

The driver involved in the crash reportedly stopped at the scene and has been cooperating with police. No arrests have been made.

The father-of-four was ‘loved by many,’ his grieving family said in a statement.

“As a family we are all deeply heartbroken by the loss of our Ben. He was a beautiful son, loyal brother a great dad to four and a loving brother in law and uncle. He was loved by millions and we are all rallying together as a family to grieve.

“Gone but never forgotten his legacy will live on. RIP angel sleep tight.”

Mr. Connor shared about the loss of his son on Facebook and said that he was training to become a bereavement counsellor.

His grieving sister Billie-Jo Connor said that his death ‘left a hole in a lot of hearts.’

“I just really can’t believe he’s gone, he was such a massive part of mine and my kids’ lives – they loved him so much, as did he them,” she expressed.

“He had a heart of gold, he was always there for me and the kids no matter what, I always had his back.”

She continued: “He lived with me a few times. We had an unbreakable bond, and now he’s gone I’m in absolute bits, he would do anything for anyone.

“I wish I could have been there to help him. So many memories I will cherish ’til the day I die and meet him again. He will be missed forever and always.”
