This is a heartwarming moment a father of the bride interrupted the wedding to let her daughter’s stepfather join him in walking her down the aisle.
Posted on TikTok, the video quickly went viral and melted hearts all over the world, with many saying it shows how co-parenting should be.
In the clip that was filmed at a wedding, the bride’s father can be seen interrupting the traditional walk to let her stepfather walk with them down the aisle.
“My dad surprised my stepdad by including him in our walk down the aisle,” Kelsey Griffith wrote as she shared the emotional moment.
Her TikTok video has been viewed more than 5 million times and people can’t seem to get enough of the sweet interaction.
In the clip, Kelsey and her biological father can be seen walking down the aisle. The father then paused and reached for the stepfather as though he wanted to shake his hand.
But he pulled Kelsey’s stepfather into the aisle and both of them locked arms with their daughter.
They proceeded to walk to the altar as a united family.
