A father has been slammed online after swearing in disappointment during a gender reveal.

In a viral TikTok video that has been viewed more than 43 million times, an expectant US mom known under the username @kc.fulton shared her husband’s unflattering reaction to finding out they were expecting a baby girl.

The clip starts with the mother carrying their 1-year-old baby girl while her husband is holding their 3-year-old daughter.

The mother then opens a black umbrella, prompting hundreds of pink confetti to fall to the ground.

Disappointed by the news, the father then let goes of his daughter and walks away. While walking away from his wife and their two daughters, the man repeatedly shouts: ‘fu**.’

After the video was shared on TikTok under the caption “I swear he’s happy,” viewers were quick to slam the father and condemn him for being so openly disappointed after learning he was getting another daughter.

“That video was PAINFUL to watch. I cannot imagine having a father that was disappointed in me before I was born. His reaction was alarming,” one person wrote.

“He’s acting like a two year old. I wouldn’t post this at all. I’d also stop having kids with him too. Babies are blessings. Period,” another said.

“Man, this just makes me sad. I don’t know how women choose men like this and look past it, I’d rather be alone,” the third wrote.

One viewer suggested: “He should be ashamed of himself for that reaction. Grown man throwing a tantrum like that.”
