Two brothers are expressing their absolute heartbreak after being forced to leave their family home due to their mother’s passing away.
The grieving individuals have put forward a request for help to allow them to stay in the home after they were served with an eviction notice to leave immediately as their mother, who was the tenant, had passed away.
Sean and Andrew Brogan spoke about the notice that stated ‘noticed to quit,’ which reportedly asked the duo to leave the premises at the nearest date, which is located in Up Holland, Lancashire.
“We’ve lived here all of our lives and to be served something like this is beyond heartbreaking,” they explained.
Jacqueline who was the mother of the boys was the sole tenant of the property. She recently passed away after suffering from a heart attack last month.
Sean explained the heartbreaking moment where he spent nearly 45 minutes alongside a first responder to assist them in bringing her back to life but she passed away.
Shockingly, her death came after the boy’s father passed away last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Both husband-wife battled with COVID for a while, making the whole situation super hard for the boys as they had seen their parents in so much pain in so little time.
Unfortunately, the boys failed to get around to updating details of the tenancy and that meant Jacqueline was the only name mentioned in the agreement with the state council.
The boys stated that despite contracting the local authorities regarding the matter, seven days after her death, they got their notice to quit, forcing them to leave by December 26th.
