Jenn Keathley’s son just arrived home from school when he noticed that something was wrong.
One of their home’s large windows was shattered and their family dog was outside.
He knew that someone had broken in especially when he heard noises. Realizing that the burglar was still inside, he contacted his mother immediately as he started to check around the house.
In an interview with The Dodo, Keathley said: “He (son) said, ‘It smells funky in here.’ He found the goat in the bathroom and ran back outside yelling, ‘Nope, nope, nope!’ Imagine that phone call!”
As it would be difficult for them to coax the goat out of their home, the family contacted the police and officers with the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office arrived as fast as they could.
They saw the destruction the animal had caused and wondered how the goat could’ve smashed the window.
The officers cautiously explored around the house and heard noises coming from the bathroom.
They carefully approached the area and found the intruder sleeping on the bathroom floor. Aaaww!
This playful goat managed to smash his way through the large window and as soon as he got inside, he took a nap.
The adorable goat was a little confused and surprised when officers woke him up.
“It took them a few hours to get him out,” Keathley shared. “Tried luring him out and talking nicely for a long time. They were very gentle with him.”
The goat had apparently been missing from his New London Eastern Road home for many days.
One Facebook user wrote: “OMG poor beautiful baby. maybe he’s was hungry .I love the baby.”
Another wrote: “Just got tired after he broke in Thats all lol.”
A third added: “Probably seen the reflection of himself in the window….lol”
