One husband is expressing his dismay and fury at his wife because she failed to clean the house, despite the fact that he had guests coming over.
The man claims that he was beyond enraged at the embarrassment he was forced to deal with when his ‘guys’ entered because that was definitely not something they were expecting.
After sharing his story online, the man received plenty of criticism for making the revelation which many felt was beyond outrageous.
The could who share three children together mentioned how the father goes to work while the mother stays home, where she cooks and cleans, and takes care of the children.
However, since all the kids are so young, it’s quite obvious that they tend to make a mess, wherever they go.
For that reason, the couple reportedly made a pact that whenever they either have guests coming over, they would make the effort to keep things looking neat and clean.
Unfortunately, one day, the husband invited some of his close pals over from work and when he opened the door, he was outraged at the scenes in front of him.
There was a giant utter mess, alongside plenty of food and toys on the floor. Clearly, this was not the best first impression that he planned on giving them.
“I was beyond mortified and embarrassed at what I saw. I never expected my home to look like this, in front of my friends and work colleagues,” he explained to an online audience on Reddit.
As the husband tried to take his guests towards the ‘least’ messy part of his home, his pals kept on giving him the strangest looks and even began making some indirect comments regarding the home’s current condition.
After they left, he woke up his wife and asked why she failed to clean up, despite knowing house guests were about to arrive. The wife defended herself by mentioning how she never saw the text he had sent out and for that reason, shouldn’t be blamed.
