A mother from Pennsylvania shared a unique lesson she learned after seeing her husband lying next to their daughter on the bathroom floor.
Kari Boyer put up her story on social media and since then, it managed to gain plenty of attention from people all over, with plenty of views, likes, and shares across the board. But what exactly did it state is a question on so many people’s minds?
The message comprised of a series of wise words for all types of Christian women regarding the qualities she deems is important when searching for your soulmate.
Shared with more than a million viewers, the post from Boyer’s Facebook page started with a bizarre picture featuring her husband lying next to their daughter on a towel in the bathroom.
The father was curled up behind his daughter with his arm around her waist, as he made an attempt to comfort her since she was apparently unwell.
While taking care of sick children can depend upon both parents, it’s usually the mother who steps in for comfort. But in this case, it was the father who jumped in to try and make her feel okay.
Boyer’s advice revolved around how young ladies should never rush into marriage and should instead begin praying for a husband of a certain kind. And that’s when she revealed everything she felt was important to pray for.
“Pray for a man that will lay next to your future 13-year-old lying on the floor, pray for someone that will carry her down the stairs, and pray for someone that will spend the night at the hospital, waiting for her to be released,” she added.
Boyer also spoke about how important it is to have someone in your life that constantly puts you and your kids above himself but never above the Lord.
