A mother was left furious after trolls online mocked her for picking a boys’ name for her baby girl.
Tiktok user Camille Munday, who goes under the username @camille_munday, said she chose the name Lennon for her daughter even though it was unconventional.
However, people were quick to share their thoughts and online trolls said that the name was for boys.
In her TikTok video, Camille said that she planned to pick the name Lennon for her daughter. But she was immediately inundated with comments, with one person writing: “You’re giving her a boys name – the world’s gone mad, I don’t think she will thank you for it.”
Another wrote: “I’m confused. Lennon, is that a girls name? I have always thought that was a boys name.”
In another TikTok video, Camille slammed online trolls by singing ‘kiss my a** goodbye’ while patting Lennon’s bottom.
In Camille’s most recent video, most people praised the name she chose for her daughter, with many saying they thought it was beautiful.
“Lennon is an awesome name! I have a Granddaughter name Morgan, which is a beautiful name. I know someone named Alexander’s and we call her Andy. What you name your child is your business. Just be sure about weird names that could be a “ burden” as the child grows up,” one person commented.
“Lennon is not actually a boys name it is a surname. Good on this woman for choosing something different. There are enough people with traditional boring names out there,” another wrote.
“Its a great name. My daughters are named Liam and Jadyn. My granddaugher’s second name is Sydney,” a third said.
