A mother who bought a mountain of Christmas gifts for her 18-month-old miracle baby has hit back at critics who said her daughter would be ‘overwhelmed’.
23-year-old Sarah Moore took to TikTok and shared a huge pile of presents that she bought for her baby Alaya.
While the mother-of-one enjoyed buying presents for her miracle daughter, some people claimed that her child might be ‘overwhelmed’ by so many toys.
Some of the presents were a count-along basket and scanner, a My Baby Tumbles doll, a personalized backpack, first word books, and Bing figurines.
Sarah also purchased a Thomas and friends train set, Mega Blocks, a toy toaster, and a ToyHenry the Hoover.
“Please no hate, my baby is my miracle and I’m lucky to have her so I will buy her what I want to buy her,” Sarah wrote.
In another video, she also showed some of the Cocomelon gifts that she bought for her daughter, including a bath time learning set, magnetic scribbler, and a jigsaw puzzle.
Her TikTok video has gained more than 700k views and people were quick to praise the mother.
One person commented: “Mumma Spend what you want to make YOUR baby happy – hope its an amazing xmas!”
Another wrote: “Very lucky girl, you do know she will only play with the empty boxes tho.”
A third said: “She is a very lucky little lady. I will be spoiling our child when I’m lucky enough to fall pregnant xx.”
Someone else said: “Nothing annoys me more than parents having to explain why they do things.”
Others also offered advice as to not ‘overwhelm’ the child on Christmas morning, with one person suggesting: “Definitely spread out opening them through the year and rotate so she doesn’t get overwhelmed by her options.”
