A mother has shared how she discovered cash hidden in her daughter’s toy.
Clarissa Garza from Dallas, Texas, went viral on social media after she shared a video of herself opening her 5-year-old daughter’s L.O.L. Surprise Pop-Up Store where she found $247 cash in the drawer.
She said that she was cleaning her daughter’s room when she noticed the money in her plastic toy case.
“She’s five, so I don’t know where she would get money from,” Clarissa said while trying to open the drawer.
“Let’s see how much is in here.”
The mother discovered a bunch of $1 and $20 bills! At the bottom of the pile, she was shocked to find $100.
After counting all of it, Clarissa realized that her cheeky daughter had stored a total of $247.
Her TikTok video has been viewed over 22 million times since it was shared, and people were quick to leave their thoughts.
“Miss gurl has more money than me,” one TikToker wrote.
“I’d let her save the money. That’s a somewhat good habit to save. Starting early,” another wrote.
“Y’all saying “you better not take it”. Her kid stole it from her. Omg,” a third said with laughing emojis.
Clarissa confirmed that her 5-year-old daughter had taken the money from her purse.
When she asked her daughter if she put the money inside her toy, the cheeky girl nodded and explained why.
“Where did you find that money at?” Clarissa asked, to which her daughter replied: “In your purse.”
When asked why she took some cash, she explained that she just wanted “to keep it safe.”
“So should we get you a piggy bank?” the mother asked, and her daughter quickly became excited. “But you can’t take my money no more from my purse,” she added.
