A mother has been accused of bullying her child after leaving a “cruel” message on the toddler’s dinner.
Sparking an outrage on TikTok, an anonymous user shared a video in which she was seen serving dinner with a rude word on it to her toddler, Emma.
The plate included diced tomatoes, cucumber slices, and three biscuits. The biscuit in the middle also came with a personalized message that some viewers found very inappropriate.
“Di*khead,” the writing on the largest biscuit read, whereas the video was captioned: “When your toddler won’t nap.”
While the joke was well-received by many viewers, some people blasted the mother and called her cruel.
“Am I the only person that thinks this trend is a little cruel? Like I get the humor, but still,” someone wrote.
“Why is it in to be anything but nice to children? Like I don’t get it and I’m glad I don’t,” another said.
The third suggested: “Would you send your kid to daycare or preschool with a lunch box note like that? Hmmm I think not because you know it’s wrong.”
Some people, however, saw the funny side of the rude dinner and rushed to the mom’s defense.
“Do we love our kids? Yes. Do we like them? No,” a fellow parent wrote.
“Look, if writing that on your toddler’s food helps you stay calm enough to be a good mum in ways she does understand, do it!” another argued.
The third said: “I’m old school and flip my kid off when her back is turned.”
