29-year-old Harriet Orr was drinking a cup of coffee when she opened a Snapchat app to take photos of her daughter Edie.

But she was left shocked when the ‘dog’ filter detected a figure of a man behind Edie.

Harriet was quick to notice that the ‘bald man with a sharp nose’ resembled her late dad Michael Billingham, who died from Huntington’s disease when she was still pregnant.

She described her father as a ‘loving family man’ and believes that he is still ‘with them.’

“It was comforting and very emotional. I have no idea how the face appeared. I just think he’s with us,” Harriet expressed.

“I think it could perhaps be the ghost or spirit of my father.”

The health care assistant explained that she wasn’t a spiritual person but the ‘sign’ made her believe that people who passed away are still around.

“And the age my daughter was, she just started to speak and stuff and she used to sing, ‘twinkle twinkle little star’ all the time and I remember asking her, ‘who sings that to you?’.

“And she said ‘oh grandpa Mick’, and that was my dad and she obviously never met him,” she went on.

The mother-of-three showed the photo to her family, who were also shocked to see her father’s face.

Harriet said that her dad was 43 when he was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease, a condition that stops areas of the brain from working properly over time.

“He loved children and I told him that I was pregnant but my dad had Huntington’s disease, so his speech deteriorated massively,” Harriet recalled.

“And I remember the day I told him that I was pregnant and I said to him ‘I don’t think you quite understand what I’m saying do you?.’

“He said to me, ‘I do, you’re pregnant’. I could understand it as clear as day. He was in a care home at the end and he’d carry around the scan picture with him. He was a loving family man.”
