A mother who looks exactly like her daughter says that even their family and close friends can’t tell them apart, with strangers believing they were twins.
54-year-old Ameena Bunney and her daughter Liberty, 20, look so similar thanks to the structure of their cheekbone, curly hair, bright smiles, and also chin.
Liberty said that even her dad gets them mixed up and will often make remarks about their uncanny ‘twin-like’ similarities.
“My mum is my best friend – we are super close and I tell her everything. I’m not sure if that’s down to our likeness in looks, but potentially it might,” Liberty expressed.
The 20-year-old said that she’s more like her father but she and her mom also share personality traits such as being shy around new people, worrying a lot, and being protective over their loved ones.
“People in shops have told us how alike we look over the years, as well as other family members and friends who often comment on the resemblance,” she continued.
“She’s honestly just as beautiful on the inside, as well as the outside and If I could be half the woman she is, I would be happy,” Liberty added.
The duo share their videos on TikTok where they receive thousands of views and likes from stunned viewers who couldn’t tell who’s who, with one fan commenting: “Your mom really said copy, paste.”
Liberty said of the comments they receive: “It was a trend at the time, so we thought we would try it out to see if we really did lookalike as so many people (have said this) before.
“We were shocked at the final video and it was fun to see the outcome, as well as being nice to look back on. I think my mum is beautiful, so I love that I resemble her.”
