A mother of ten children has been slammed for spending way too much on Christmas gifts to please her young children.
Both husband and wife revealed what they purchased this year and how they spent over $16,000 to get all the presents lined up in time for the festive holiday. But when the items were revealed, many simply couldn’t believe the great extent that they went to in the end.
Think along the lines of iPhones, bikes, and Nintendo switches but that was just the start of a long list of presents.
Alicia Dougherty made the striking revelations on her account on TikTok where she placed a video for her followers to understand where she and her husband spent their $16,000 this season.
The video reportedly came with the caption, ‘how much did we spend on Christmas for our 10 children?”
And that’s when Alicia who hails from the US started her story.
First up, every child received a brand new bike and that came with sparkling new helmets that cost nearly $3,000. In addition to that, the gift list has two Nintendo switch consoles, toys, games, and even laptops were included as well. This came in at about $5000.
Next up, the couple’s two oldest sons got brand new iPhones with all of the fancy accessories. And that cost a staggering &800 each.
But Alicia didn’t plan on stopping over there as she managed to splash out a grand sum on customized wrapping paper that featured each kid’s name and that cost about $200- yikes!
Other gifts for the children included $2000 worth of presents for the kids’ biological siblings since all of the couple’s kids are adopted. And this also included one plane ticket so that one of the child’s biological moms could fly and visit.
