A mother is revealing her utter heartbreak after she reportedly found a stranger spying and speaking to her young child in the middle hours of the night.
According to media reports, the horrified mother claims that her entire family was spied upon by a complete stranger in their own residence after she discovered the creepy individual speaking to the toddler on a baby camera.
22-year-old Shannon Richardson and her husband Jack Gray added how their young son Freddie kept on waking up in the middle of the night. The parents thought there was something wrong with him personally, only to make the harrowing discovery.
“He just refused to go back to sleep at about 2 am in our home in Oxfordshire. We couldn’t understand why,” the couple began to explain.
But after seeing the baby camera, the couple came to the realization of what was really going on here. The 15-month-old child was waking up because a stranger kept on calling his name. “There was a deep man’s voice and he just couldn’t sleep after that,” the mother stated.
After realizing the truth, they rushed to the baby’s room as they feared that someone had broken into their home and was speaking to their child.
And that’s when the father named Jack ripped the ‘hacked’ monitor out from the wall where it was intricately positioned to capture the young one.
Shannon explained how traumatized she became after the whole ordeal as it was an absolute nightmare taking place right in front of her eyes. “I insisted on staying at my mother’s house after all of that, she added, whenever her husband went away from work.
But after he got back, she stayed by his side for days, trying to get that fear out of her mind.
“We don’t know how long that creep was watching our child Freddie. It just sickens and disgusts me so much,” she revealed.
Cops are investigating the incident of the hacked baby monitor as the couple remains alert during all times of the day to avoid any unfortunate incident.
