Following the tragic incident, relatives of the young man spoke out and revealed they believe Noah suffered from mental health problems including depression.

They also expressed concern that the 25-year-old’s mental illness resulted from repeated head trauma he allegedly suffered while playing football in college.

As it has been revealed, Noah played football for several years, whereas his family believe repeated hits to the head could have resulted in his hallucinations, paranoia, and delusions that made him ram his car into police officers on Friday.

According to Noah’s brother, Brendan, his sibling was “violently ill” and even went on to message him about wanting to live as homeless the night before the incident, the Washington Post reported.

Meanwhile, other family members spoke to the Post and claimed Noah’s health issues began shortly after he graduated from college. As they insisted, “he began to experience hardships among his peers” which may have been a result of head trauma inflicted during his years-long football career.

As the authorities believe, Green’s attack was not of terrorist nature. Instead, they suggested that the killing was most likely fueled by his mental health issues and his ideological cause.

After the young man’s death, troublesome social media posts in which Noah expressed his suicidal thoughts and fears that he was a victim of federal “mind control” have surfaced.

In another post, the 25-year-old pledged his allegiance to Louis Farrakhan by dubbing him his “spiritual father” and saying he is “Jesus, the Messiah.”

“Preaching to the multitudes, calling a million black men to Washington, and standing up to the most powerful government of modern times. He has done miraculous work not just with me, but with the lives of millions.”
