One family of 13 is speaking out about its fears on how they might soon be homeless after the council ordered them to evacuate their 8 bedroom rental home.
The family says that they continue to receive threatening calls and letters from the local council on how they will soon be evicted and that means they’ll have no other place to go.
For the past two years, Clifford Westfall and his wife Clair Patterson were reportedly living inside a bedroomed home in Bradford which had 8 rooms in total.point 399 |

Now, the council in Bradford has reportedly issued one warning regarding how the family must leave before January 26th.
Moreover, an extension on the property, which is reportedly built by the landlord, will breach all planning regulations and make matters worse for them, and for that reason, they can’t even think of that as an option.
The family says that they’ve tried everything to make things turn in their favor and prevent their eviction but so far, everything has failed.
This includes three separate retrospective planning applications, along with a major appeal towards the inspector who heads the government’s planning. And in the end, they’ve been told that the only possible way out is to purchase the property.
“After we were told to leave by the council, we requested if they could assist us in temporarily finding a place to live as we’ve struggled to find any place suitable,” the family explained. But up until now, they’ve not received any sort of response.
“There is just nothing that would fit our family’s size and leave we’re in fear of being homeless,” the couple says.
