One mother is sparking a major online debate after branding her 22-year-old daughter as selfish for not having children of her own.

 

The mother even went as far as claiming that in order for the family name to carry on, she was forced to have two more children. And that’s just because she wanted to maintain the bloodline. 

The mother who calls herself a member of the Generation Xer claims that it’s beyond appalling for her to understand why her own daughter chooses not to have any kids of her own. 

“She doesn’t understand how important it is to have a family of her own. She’s just selfish and it’s beyond me,” the mother stated. 

“I have been forced with no choice but to handle the problems of the millennials and for that reason, I have to deal with the consequences,” she explained.

The daughter who is 22 stated a while back how kids do not interest her one bit and for that reason, she’s not going to have any of her own. 

“Those souls need to come into our family for ancestral reasons and they need to be born,” the mother tried to explain. But no matter how much convincing she tried to do, the matter kept on getting worse with each passing second.

The internet was quick to respond to the mother’s post, where many elderly viewers held the opinion that it was indeed selfish of her to refuse her mother’s wishes and not start a family.

However, there were also some people, especially those that were younger, who claim that it’s not the mother’s decision on whether or not the daughter should have a child or not. They even went as far as telling the mom to stop sticking her nose in everyone’s personal business as her daughter was now a grown woman. What do you think?
