A Detroit family has kicked off an American Airlines flight before the plane took off after passengers complained about their body odor.
Yossi Adler, his wife Jennie, and their 19-month-old daughter, who were flying back home after a vacation in Miami, were kicked off the aircraft just before the plane took off.
They have kicked off the aircraft because passengers complained about their body odor.
Adler told Local 10:
‘All of a sudden, as soon as they took us off, they closed the gate and said “Sorry sir, some people complained you had body odor and we’re not letting you back on,”‘
‘There’s nobody odor that we have. There’s nothing wrong with us.’
Adler filmed himself talking with staff after they were kicked off. He can be heard saying in the video:
‘We don’t have odor, okay? Nobody here has odor.’
American Airlines confirmed that the Detroit family was kicked off the flight and they claimed that the family was given a hotel room and meal vouchers and booked onto a new flight.
Jenine, who stopped several people at the airport to ask if they smelled, said:
‘It’s embarrassing but we asked them, “Do you think we smell? Because we just got kicked off a plane for smelling,'”
‘And they were like, “Oh my god, we’re so embarrassed for you that someone would do such a thing, no!”‘
‘I want them to own up to what really happened and to tell me the truth. What was it?’ Adler added.
