Travel is not just going from one place to another.
It is living in a place, in a culture, around the people, exploring the unexplored places, and experiencing while not just watching it through your eyes but feeling it through your heart.
That is how you go around places when you travel to see the world. There are people who travel to take off from their normal life, there are other people who make travel their life.
Wanting to live their life out of the mediocre world, this couple decided that travel is something they find joy in, so they quit their job and started their journey.
Kylie Gibbon who is 45 years old and her 43 years old husband Mike Gibbon one day decided to quit their jobs and live the life in the way they always wanted to. They pulled their kids out of school and planned their trekking travel trip to Europe and Asia.
Because of their decision of taking their kids out of school for 8 months, the couple received a lot of backlash from people around the world but this did not stop them. Rather the teachers of the kids said that they will anyhow learn way more while traveling compared to what they learn at school.
Kylie and Mike were both torn off by their jobs and were not able to make any time for their kids and family, so they quit.
They say, while they opt traveling, they knew it will bring their family very close together and give them ample of memories to last a lifetime. Till now, the couple has been to 57 countries and their kids, Sophie and Jack had been to 35 countries at a very young age of 9 and 7.
The couple started their journey back in 2015 but traveling this much protected them from being with their kids. So they took their kids off from school for 8 months and traveled.
Kaylie says she is thankful to the teachers and the school who has supported them so much.
