A woman was left stunned after she gave birth to her baby only hours after finding out that she was pregnant.
23-year-old Peyton Stover thought her new job as a teacher was just making her exhausted. But when her legs started to swell, that was the only time she found out that she had a bun in the oven.
But what shocked her even more was that her baby boy was ready to come out.
Speaking to news outlet KETV, Peyton said that a doctor ran the test twice and it was ‘definitely positive.’
Doctors then ran an ultrasound to confirm the amazing news to the mother.
“She looked right at the screen and said, ‘You’re definitely pregnant,’” Peyton shared. “I had severely high blood pressure which is very scary.”
“If I wouldn’t have came in when I did I probably wouldn’t have made it through the weekend.”
Peyton underwent an emergency c-section and her baby boy was born 10 weeks early.
She and her partner Travis said they wanted children and were shocked but still thrilled that their baby came sooner than expected.
“Now that I’ve actually held him, fed him and things like that it’s real. He’s actually mine,” Travis expressed.
Some people questioned the woman’s story as they didn’t believe that she wasn’t aware of her pregnancy but many were quick to defend her, with one person writing: “I know 2 close friends of mine that this happened to. They were 6 and 7 months pregnant and both still had their periods.”
Another wrote: “Heard of cryptic pregnancy? Some people don’t have any symptoms at all, not even a bump so it can be easily overlooked!”
