A woman has delivered a miracle baby boy after suffering eight miscarriages over the years.
EJ and Lauren Wynn, 36 and 37, are an Ohio couple who recently expanded their family by welcoming a baby boy following more than five years of struggles to conceive.
After their eighth miscarriage in 2021, the couple decided to give their chances one last try and raise as much money as they possibly could to afford the expensive IVF process.
Desperate for funds, EJ also sold his collection of 100 plus pairs of shoes to help pay for Lauren’s Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVig) treatment.
Fortunately, all of their sacrifices paid off and the couple received the “exciting but scary” news that they were expecting in October 2021.
In the following months, Lauren was admitted to the hospital due to complications. She later also underwent an emergency C-section when her baby’s heart rate started falling.
Despite all odds, the couple happily welcomed a baby boy named Amari on May 1, 2022. Calling their baby’s arrival the “most beautiful thing,” the couple said they just felt glad their bundle of joy was healthy.
Since the good news, EJ and Lauren spoke out and thanked everyone who helped their dreams come true through donations and words of encouragement.
The happy parents also said they still can’t believe how the odds turned in their favor and gave them a “miracle baby” that is “healthy and everything is good with him.”
“We are watching him grow, his presence brightens up every single day,” they said.
