A 30-year-old woman has revealed the moment she found out she was expecting a set of triplets while planning her birthday party.
Monique Davaul already had three kids when she got pregnant again. She was planning her birthday party when she found out that she was expecting triplets.
In an interview with Good Morning America, the mother said: “I was like ‘It’s easy.’ So I guess maybe God said: ‘You kept saying it was easy. I got something for you. Let’s see what you can do with three.’”
Instead of celebrating her 30th birthday, she called the venue and changed the plan to a gender reveal party.
After attending routine check-ups every two weeks, Monique finally gave birth to one boy and two girls via C section at the Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC).
Her other children also try to help out caring for the new members of the family.
RRMC said in a statement to PEOPLE: “This phenomenon happening naturally is so rare that it’s hard to find any statistics on the occurrence.”
This came after another Monique gave birth to triplets.
Monique Bertrand, 38, and her partner had struggled for years to have a baby after she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome.
She even switched to a healthier lifestyle and shed some weight to increase her chances. But after seven years of trying, she thought there was ‘no hope’ until she finally fell pregnant.
Monique and her husband John were even shocked to discover that they were expecting not just one but three children.
