A mother from Dallas Texas shares her tips on how she is loved by his sons even she doesn’t spend thousands on Christmas.
Yalancia Rosario, 29, from Dallas, Texas has eight sons: James 12, Micheal Jr. 9, Angelo 8, Armani 6, Prince 5, Sincere 3, Armani 1, and Gimani 5 months. Sadly, another boy died during her first trimester.
And as for celebrating the Christmas season, she also shared that getting gifts for all eight is not as expensive as we thought it’d be. Some might have envisioned it as a “stressful time” but for her, it isn’t.
She revealed her spending tips saying: “I spend around $2,493 to $4,192 depending on which trip we decide on,” explaining that the family usually opted for a holiday rather than big gifts.
She explained: “We usually go on a trip instead of gifting as we gift big on birthdays. I honestly do all my shopping online for the majority of things. Shopping online is a breeze.”
“I always have reservations set early so we aren’t struggling to get in anywhere this trip is saved for throughout the year and the boys enjoy the experiences we get to take with one another,” she added.
Pregnant with her ninth child, Yalancia who is married to Michael Rosario, 36, works from home and runs a business.
Yalancia said: “I’ve always wanted a big family of 10 because I grew up as the oldest of seven and wanted to have my own big family to create memories with. A few of my boys were conceived on contraceptives but we happily welcomed them and then a few were planned”.
“I don’t use contraceptives anymore. We live within our means and have a great budgeting system set up,” she added.
Her TikTok and Instagram account with 250,000 followers shows her daily life with her eight sons and says she is sometimes trolled and accused of being on benefits but she says doesn’t care.
Yalancia said: “I’ve never been judged so much as on the internet we always get “stop using our tax money”, “have you heard of birth control” and “how many fathers do they have.”
She also revealed that some people say there is something physiologically wrong with her but claims that the positives always outweigh the negatives.
She claimed that she was destined to be a mother saying: “I do feel like I have a nurturing and patient soul,” explaining her mammoth brood didn’t miss out on things because there were so many.
Yalencia said: “Holidays are loads of fun, each kid has an amazing personality. I’m huge on meal prepping and having everything set for the week every Sunday.”
“I make sure I have meals pre-made. All of the children have designated clothes for every day of the week. We all wake up around 6 am, get ready for the day, have breakfast together, have our talks of affirmations, and get everyone off to school.”
“In-between work I get loads of clothes washed, get meals cooked and I tend to my younger kids at home as well as cleaning before the older boys are home by 4 pm and then we start our evening routines of eating, homework, chores, and family dinner with designated family nights,” she added.
She claims that she loves being a mega mother and that she doesn’t regret it even one bit.
