For those that are a little late to the party, well, here’s a show that’s all set to be the world’s biggest hit in terms of ratings. Yes, viewers can’t stop talking about it. But wait, if the show is in Korean, that means you probably watched it with English subtitles right?

Well, one woman claims that the subtitles provided as a translation for the Korean dialogues were so botched that they managed to alter the whole meaning in more ways than one!

Therefore, she’s calling out the show as well as the viewers on what they may have missed out upon and it’s big!

Think along the lines of missing important dialogues as well as details that could probably make the show that much more appealing.

As it is, the hit Korean-based Squid Games has managed to gross out millions with many flocking to social media to rant about how much they loved the thrill and nail-biting experience.

But Youngmi Mayer is raining on plenty of people’s parades by adding that what you saw isn’t half as great as what was initially portrayed, thanks to botched subtitles.

With her insight gaining up to a million views on TikTok, the podcaster spoke about the details that everyone wants to hear, and many think she’s right! “Hey everyone, I just want you all to know that I’m very fluent in the Korean language and I also had the English subtitles on, just to see how well it was translated,” she added.

And that’s when she spoke about the horrifying discovery on how there was so much missing in the English subtitles that it wasn’t even funny.
