Who doesn’t like fish and chips? This fish and chip restaurant is serving the nation’s favorite supper, quails eggs pickled in champagne washed down with a £200($260) bottle of Dom Perignon.

The nautical-themed ‘chippy’ has become one of the best restaurants in the UK in 2019 with their appealing dishes such as bouillabaisse and king prawn gnocchi on the menu.
The chippy’s drinks menu is also very tempting they offer a full selection of red, white, and sparkling wines, including a £200 bottle of Dom Perignon champagne. They also have a long list of cocktails.
You can find all the usual chip-shop favorites on the menu, including battered sausage and chips.
Malt & Anchor can be found on Castle Street in Cirencester, Glos when customers walk through the door.
Their modern decor like several nautical elements, including wood paneling on the walls, ropes strung across the ceiling, and aqua-blue seating is also mesmerizing.
They offer a full takeaway menu, and diners can enjoy their favorite dishes in-house with both seating downstairs and upstairs.
The menu offers posh versions of chip shop favorites – the pickled eggs are quails eggs, which is preserved in champagne.
There is a variety in starters too like, monkfish salad, smoked salmon fishcakes, and panko-coated prawn and calamari.
The main menu offers favorites such as cod, haddock, or plaice, and a range of pies – including venison pie, wild boar and chorizo pie, and a vegan, spiced chickpea option.
Alongside the classic ketchup, mushy pea and curry sauce side options there’s garlic aioli and sweet chili sauce.
All of Malt & Anchor’s fish is sustainably caught, with the cod and the haddock all cooked to order.
The sausages come from local butchers Jesse Smith’s and they prepared from locally sourced meat.
