Out of the blue, John Barrowman made a surprising return to the show Doctor Who leaving the fans in a dilemma of joy and wonder.
Captain Jack Harkness from the days of past of the show makes a surprising entry to give a vital message to Jodie Whittaker, the current Time Lord in the episode that was aired last night.
Although the actor last appeared on the show literally in the days of the past about 10 years ago, he had never hidden his willingness to return to the show at least once. Maybe this is what he is doing on the show now, living his wish.
In an interview with Radio Time regarding the show, John said “It feels absolutely amazing coming back on the show. It is like coming back home after a very very long time.
I know the love people have for Jack around the world and this is why I always wanted to bring back Jack even if it was for once.”
He continued “Without revealing too much about the story, the Jack is still the same. He is everything he was, flirty, sassy but this time he is a lot more determined.”
“So yeah Jack is here.”
It looks like this is exactly what fans wanted with one posting on Twitter writing “I have been waiting for this day for years and I can’t control my happiness seeing Jack back on the screen. I Love You, Captain Jack.”
Another wrote “I am loving 2020. Jack is back, what else do we need now? I am so much happier in just a day.”
A third added in the row “We have imagined this happening but we have been imagining this for a long time. We would hope every single year that he would come back but it only happened 10 years later.”
