A Massachusetts father is under arrest and he just pleaded not guilty after his 5 years old son carried a bag full of cocaine to school.
The alarm of suspicion rang when the 5 years old little boy started showing off something to his classmates. Then he told his teacher that by tasting the powder he turns into Spiderman.
The teacher then checked the powder and found out it was cocaine and the child’s bag was filled with it.
Benny Garcia of Holyoke was present in the Holyoke District Court on Friday by Judge William Rota as he was under the charges of drug distribution and engagement of a child along in it.
The reports say that the man was arrested on Thursday due to the offense that was put on him in 2018 of drug possession.
Lisa Ball, who is Garcia’s attorney and had requested to set his bail up at $1,000 in cash.
The Holyoke City Police Department says that they received on Thursday a call from H.B. Lawrence Elementary School and they left at 11 a.m.
The department says that the kid came to school and had brought a powdery substance along with him with a picture of Spiderman on the packet.
He then showed the packet to his teacher and told her that by tasting and smelling the powder, he becomes Spiderman.
Upon asking, he said that he got the bag of cocaine from his living room. The police then called the boy’s mother and asked her permission to search her house at 145 Essex Street.
Garcia was at his house, sleeping in his bed when the police arrived and checked it all and found out several bags cocaine hidden under his side of the bed.
