Mothers should be angelic caretakers for their children.
But it looks like not all the mothers are same as this father is demanding stricter punishment for the mother of his 8 months old daughter who left her with a black eye after hitting her with a utensil.
When Evie McMahon was just an eight-months-old baby, she was left in a terrible condition with her face swollen and her eyes turn black.
Although the actions of Lorien Norman, Evie’s mother, were not something to be considered, she was still allowed to walk free with a bond of $500 in the South Australian court.
But the punishment was not enough for Evie’s father Shane McMahon. This is why the man has proposed a bill now that demands stricter punishment for the child abusers.
He said that they have filed a bill on this issue and demand mandatory jail time for the offenders.
Even after getting massive support from the public, his bill was turned down but he is not stopping. He said that the lenient and pathetic law on the issue is one reason that empowers people to practice the crime without any fear in their mind.
He saws that they might have lost this one battle but the war is not over yet and they are going to fight it.
As Evie turned 2, his father spoke out and said that she is finally coming out of the wall she had kept herself in. She is recovering after what happened both physically and emotionally.
