One day, Kevon Smith Sr.
headed to Cracker Barrel in Willoughby to have breakfast with his 3-month-old son, Kevon Jr. While having breakfast with his son, he noticed a couple staring at him and his son.
“I noticed this older couple over in the corner. They kept smiling at me, and I was looking at my son like— what is going on?”
When he returned back to his car, he found out a note and $20 stuck to his car. The note read:
“Today your meal is on my wife and me. Enjoy that baby boy as long as God intends. Keep doing what you’re doing. The Masons.”
Now, Kavon understood why the couple was staring and smiling at them. He was so touched. Since Kevon did not have a father while growing up, he gives extra love to his son.
“This is great for me to be able to do this and do it the right way, you know to be there for him. And you know when he gets older I’ll still be there for him,” he said.
“I got blessed. I want to bless someone else,” he added.
This is such a beautiful thing. Spending time with your loved ones is really important. Thanks to the couple for encouraging Kavon and making his day.
