Parties are to have fun and meet friends and family.
While this father of three children was at a party, he was dared to eat a Gecko and the man without thinking much went on the win his dare. He ate the lizard and that is when the worst happened.
He was fine for 2 days but then he felt something was wrong. He had severe pain and so his family rushed him to the hospital.
The doctors there thought it must be gas that is troubling him but it came out something completely different and a lot more complicated. He had developed salmonella; it is an infection that is caused when a person eats a gecko.
His family is left heartbroken and in sorrow and they demand an answer to his unexpected death.
Dowell was doing just fine but 2 days later after the dare, he suffered from severe pain which became horrible within a few hours. The general symptoms of the infection are diarrhea, stomach cramps, and fever but Dowell’ case was different.
He was puking bile in green color and his urine had turned black.
Dowell’s wife said “It was a shock to us. It will always be a shock to us. We had no idea something like this would happen to him out of the blue. We are still not ok with the fact that he is not around anymore.”
His sister Hannah said “We are not sure if he ate the gecko or not. It was a dare and he must have acted of eating it but would have thrown away. He never mentioned eating it and we are not sure if we saw him eating the lizard.
We cannot believe he would do such a thing.
Whatever the reason was, we know that his body was completely rotten from the inside.”
Sadly Dowell passed away 10 days after the party on 11th of December.
