A 32-year-old man wrote a heartbreaking letter to his beloved wife and kids that his wife found after his death.
Jonathan Coelho was tested positive for coronavirus on March 26 and was admitted to a hospital.
After suffering a cardiac arrest, he was placed on a ventilator but unfortunately, he died on Wednesday after spending 28 days in the hospital.
His wife of seven years, Katie Coelho, found a heartbreaking letter after her husband’s death that he wrote while he was fighting for his life.
Katie said she was told Jonathan had been doing better but after his death, the nurse told her they don’t know what happened and why.
Katie sat with Jonathan in the ICU and cried before his death. She told him how much she and their two kids – 10-month-old Penelope and 2-year-old Braedyn – loved him.
After Jonathan’s death, when his mobile phone was returned to Katie, she found the letter that Jonathan wrote to her and their kids before his death.
The heartbreaking letter read: “I love you guys with all my heart and you’ve given me the best life I could have ever asked for. I am so lucky it makes me so proud to be your husband and the father to Braedyn and Penny.”
He described Katie as ‘the most beautiful, caring, and nurturing’ person he’s ever met and told her she’s the best mother to their kids.
He added: “Let Braedyn know he’s my best bud and I’m proud to be his father and for all the amazing things he’s done and continues to do. Let Penelope know she’s a princess and can have whatever she wants in life.”
He finally said that he’s so lucky to have them in his life.
Katie is shattered and said the pain is indescribable after losing her husband of seven years.
She said she doesn’t know how they are going to live without him as he was their world.
Katie said: “He was a hard worker with a kind soul. Jonathan had a smile that made anyone feel loved, and a hug that made you feel secure.”
Jonathan loved his life and he was looking forward to growing old with Katie and watching his children grow up but unfortunately, he died after contracting the deadly virus.
