A father has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after brutally murdering his wife and their three young children following the woman’s decision to leave him.
31-year-old Georg K fatally stabbed his 29-year-old wife, Olesija, as well as their three children including Anastasia, 3, Dima, 7, and Maikel, 9.
According to the reports, the German man has an extensive history of domestic violence and has been planning to kill his wife for a long time prior to his hideous crimes.
The matter began escalating five days prior to the murders when Georg had severely beaten up his sons at their family home.
After that, the authorities released a restraining order prohibiting the aggressor from getting in touch with the family. Despite being forced to submit his home keys, Georg kept a spare duplicate that no one else knew about.
Scared that Georg would violate the restraining order, Olesija’s brother stayed at their home to defend the family.
Despite all the actions taken, Georg managed to lure Olesija’s brother out of the apartment days later by asking him to hand over his charging cable. While the brother was waiting for him, however, Georg sneaked into the apartment and knifed his wife and their three children.
According to the neighbors, the vile man was heard yelling: “You made a mess of my life, you see what you get!”
In an attempt to flee the crime scene after the woman’s brother returned to the apartment, Georg jumped off a balcony and got severely injured, allowing the authorities to apprehend him.
In the court, the prosecutors argued that given Georg’s violent history and detailed planning of the murders only the maximum penalty would suffice. The man’s lawyers, however, requested a diminished sentence.
Agreeing with the prosecutors, the judge sentenced the murderer to life in jail without the possibility of premature release.
