A father jumps into a burning car to save his son regardless of the dangers he could face.
The Daily Mail reported on Friday that a crash occurred at the South Boston Speedway in Virginia, USA.
Mike Jones, who competed in the racing match, lost control of his car as he bumped into a car in front of him while turning a corner.
Mike’s car hit the wall as his car was spinning and fire began to spew out of the bonnet of the car in about 15 seconds.
As soon as the car was in flames, a man suddenly jumped over the fence and rushed towards the scene.
The man was Mike’s father, Dean Jones.
Dean jumped into the fire without any protective equipment and pulled Mike out the window of his car.
Mike was trapped in the flame for about 25 seconds and was able to escape safely thanks to his father.
Dean rescued his son and jumped back into the car to rescue the security personnel in the car, but was stopped by a paramedic who arrived at the scene.
Mike and the security personnel are being treated at the hospital and fortunately it is said that they are not seriously injured.
The video was released at the time of the accident, and the viewers praised Dean as a “real hero”.
Despite this reaction, Dean is likely to be disciplined by NASCAR, the American Allied Automobile Federation.
Although he saved his son from the accident, the general rule is that the public can not enter the race track under any circumstances.
