A father has been in a legal battle against his ex-wife after the woman started dressing up their son as a girl and encouraging him to transition to a female.
Following months of a bitter custody battle, Judge Kim Cooks has ruled in favor of the father, Jeff Younger, giving him the right to attempt to stop his 7-year-old son from transitioning to a girl.
Jeff has been fighting his former partner, Dr. Anne Georgulas, who claims that their son, James, has gender dysphoria and wants to become a female.
On the other side of the table, Jeff claims that his ex-wife was forcing James to wear dresses and act like a girl, causing him to grow insecurities about his gender.
After Judge Cooks’ ruling, the parents will share custody of the child and will be forced to make joint decisions when it comes to their son’s medical decisions, including hormone replacement therapy that Anne called for.
In addition, the separated couple will have to agree on their son’s dental, psychiatric, and hair care.
In an interview with Daily Mail that took place moments before the court hearing, the worried father said: “I’m not anticipating a good result for my son. I think I’m not going to be able to stop the social transition of my son, which will probably lead to his medical transition.”
The legal battle between the divorced parents started last year when Anne demanded that Jeff starts referring to his son as ‘Luna.’
According to the woman, three health professionals have confirmed that James has gender dysphoria, leading her to encourage the boy to transition to a female.
Jeff, on the other hand, requested the court to grant him full custody of his two children in order to stop his ex from enforcing gender transition.
“I want you to imagine having electronic communication with you son on FaceTime, and imagine that your ex-wife has dressed him as a drag queen to talk to you. He has false eyelashes and makeup. His hair has got glitter in it. He’s wearing a dress,” Jeff previously said publicly, accusing his ex-wife of sexually abusing James.
“Now imagine how you would feel seeing what I believe is actual sexual abuse – I believe this is not just emotional abuse but is the very, most fundamental form of sexual abuse, tampering with the sexual identity of a vulnerable boy. Every. Single. Day.
“You have to see your son sexually abused, and you have to maintain your calm… because the courts are not going to be fair to you.
“And the only way you can survive this and get your son through this alive is to calmly allow your son to be tortured right before your eyes and outlast the opposition. That’s what it’s like.”
