A 41-year-old father has spent years changing his appearance so he could look like a real-life Orc from Lord of the Rings.
Rico Ledesma from Brazil also completed his look with fake fanged teeth, which made it difficult for him to eat.
In addition to tattoos, the father-of-one also has eight subdermal piercings, had his eyeballs tattooed, and tongue split.
Rico has more than 34,000 followers on Instagram where he posts photos of his daily life.
“I started to change seven years ago in order to look different but the project to look like an Orc is less than a year old,” Rico shared.
“I got six false teeth placed in August 2020 and I’m going to put two bigger ones in, even though I’m having trouble eating and drinking.”
He continued: “The new Orc modification project consisted of the implantation of two more tusks (two large teeth), body paintings which are almost all in black with some grey spots and some burns and modifications.
“Today I have 85 percent of my body tattooed.
“The teeth were the final touch to the Orc project and came after a lot of study and sleepless nights.”
Rico said that he had his teeth done by a dental professional and they did their best to make the results viable.
“She did a perfect job and I’ve already scheduled in with her again for the next mission,” he shared.
Rico also had his nasal septum widened to achieve the ‘perfect’ image of an Orc but he says that his black tattoo was “the most time-consuming and one of the painful parts” of his transformation.
Rico and his wife are now expecting their second child together.
“She loves and supports me in all my transformations,” he said. “If one day in the very distant future she wants to make some changes to her appearance too, I will be proud of her.”
