Fathers love their little princess very much.
They can’t stand to think of being able to live without them. A father from California recently rescued his 3-year-old daughter who was being abducted by a stranger.
Freddie Cantrell is the father who was playing with his daughter Aubrey and her six-year-old sister as well as their mother. This was when a strange man came close to Aubrey.
The man intertwined his hands with Aubrey’s and began skipping and running away. When the little girl refused to do so, he tried to drag her forcibly.
Cecilia, the girl’s mother, and her boyfriend began chasing the stranger when she called out her ex-partner who lived across the road for help.
She told Freddie that someone was trying to kidnap their little girl. Freddie rushed towards the park and ran in the direction in which the suspect was heading. He was followed by Cecilia and her boyfriend.
The suspect lets go for Aubrey, but the matter hadn’t finished yet.
The man looked at Freddie as if nothing had happened. Freddie became a bit furious as the man appeared to be kidnapping his daughter.
It seemed like the man was ready for a fight as he took out a pair of handcuffs to fight and wrapped them around his fingers. The suspect took the first swing at Freddie but missed. In response, Freddie gave him a punch of his own that knocked the suspect out.
The suspect has been identified as Yonel Hernandez-Velasco. The 26-year-old man was arrested for an attempt to kidnap and also assault.
His bail has been set at 1.2 million dollars.
The incident was shared by Cecilia on her social media account and asked every parent out there to keep their children safe. The residents in the area are pleased to know that such a man is behind bars.
One user commented that he would have gone after the man even if it wasn’t his kid. Freddie has received a lot of praise for his valiant effort.
