Child’s birthday cannot be special without a party.
Perhaps kids are more excited eagerly awaiting for surprises, at the same time parents are more driven to come up with unique themes and party ideas. But unfortunately, it was a disappointing day for Shane Hallford.
Hallford was extremely enraged and annoyed when he collected his little prince ‘frog’ birthday cake. He became mad when he could not find his son’s favorite amphibian on the cake and just the number 3 and a smiley emoticon designed on the top of the cake.
He became furious over the supermarket’s bakers for ruining the frog theme birthday cake. Instead of finding a brilliant cake design, he could experience the pathetic decorating skills of the bakers.
Shane Hallford, the Australian dad, spent almost 49 Australian dollars (approx. 35 US dollars) for his son Mason birthday party cake, but all went in vain and did not happen as expected.
Hallford in his latest twit claimed that
Father of two, Shane the policeman and his wife Amy 29 made an order three days prior to the party in one of the popular supermarket Woolworths, and a frog themed cake for his son Mason third birthday party. When the couple came to collect, they were horrified to find nothing on the cake.
They could not find his son’s favorite amphibian instead the number 3 and pathetic smiling face was made on the cake with the green icing.
They had only a few hours left before the party. Mason parents soon got hold of the cake decorators to make some few adjustments to add a better look to the cake.
Soon after the party, Shane Hallford shared his angry post online, and it became viral earning thousands of likes and comments for his post
Shane later said, he ordered frog theme cake three days prior to his son’s birthday, and the store agreed to all his requirements. They did not raise any concern nor refused to complete the order.
But on the day of the birthday, we had an enraging experience to find a pathetic design by skill-less cake decorator.
So, we had to do take the cake back to the baker and explained them, whether the cake decorator could make some repair to this pathetic design. Then the baker did some decorations, and the cake was ready 20 minutes before Mason’s birthday party. Despite the initial troubles, we could finally save the day!
