A son surprised his dad with a helicopter ride over the peak of a mountain as the father’s day gift.
The ride was so special because they flew over the mountain which they both climbed together 20 years ago.

Bryce Jurgy Jurgensmeier, who is 30 years old, decided to surprise his father with a trip down the memory lane. People gift six-pack of beer or DVD set to their fathers, but for Bryce, the gift meant something else.
When he was just nine years old, his father, Dee and he went climbing to the 12,667ft mount Borah in Idaho, and now his dad has turned 67 years old.
With his dad not being able to climb the mountain now, he decided to give his dad a helicopter ride over the same mountain that they climbed two decades ago.
Bryce said that it felt so good surprising him with this ride on fathers day as his smile was worth it. He further said that he had the best conversation with his dad after the trip, and he actually needed it.
Bryce was so grateful to see his father giggle and smile so much.
He shared that while they were climbing the mountain years ago, his father taught him the importance of not giving up and even if it was the hardest climb what encouraged him was his father’s effort of climbing the same mountain with him.
Bryce is now a father himself, and he hopes to provide his children with the right experiences and lessons in life.
As Dee is going through some health complications, he wasn’t able to climb the mountain, and that’s why Bryce decided to take him there in a helicopter.
Dee woke up to a helicopter in his front yard and not being aware of the surprise he started taking pictures. Later he got to know that he is being taken for a ride in the same helicopter.
Bryce says that the experience wouldn’t have been possible if his father didn’t play his role well. It is important to praise the parents who play their role so well.
