The FBI is on the hunt for the Capitol rioter who allegedly stole Nancy Pelosi’s laptop and conspired to sell it to Russians.
22-year-old Riley June Williams is a Pennsylvania care worker and a fugitive who stormed the Capitol alongside the MAGA mob on January 6.
As FBI Agent John Lund confirmed, a former partner of the suspect claimed that Williams stole House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s laptop or hard drive and that she intended to give it to her Russian friend who would sell it to Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service.
According to the unnamed witness, the care worker “intended to send the computer device to a friend in Russia, who then planned to sell the device to SVR, Russia’s foreign intelligence service.”
To back their bold allegations, the witness also insisted that the rioter’s friends showed a video in which Williams is seen stealing Pelosi’s device.
The anonymous witness told the FBI that Williams’ plan has since been shattered and that she still has the device if she had not yet gotten rid of it or destroyed it.
In one of the viral videos from January 6, Williams was also seen directing the MAGA mob after they stormed the Capitol and telling them to “go upstairs.”
As of this writing, Williams has been charged with disorderly conduct and entering a restricted building. She could, however, face much more serious charges if it turns out that she stole Nancy Pelosi’s device and plotted to sell it to the Russian spies.
