It is not every day that we get to find things that we lost decades back, and we cannot deny the fact that it makes us happy when we find things from our childhood.
Once something is lost and found, we tend to treasure it with our lives. We are talking about something five or maybe ten years old. Now, we have news of a woman reuniting with her mixtape that she lost on a beach about 25 years ago.
You wouldn’t believe what comes after this. Ms. Wedell has been on holiday on the beach, and she has found the mixtape 1200 miles from where she lost.
Ms. Stella Wedell was 12 years old when she carried her mixtape to listen to all the favorite songs on the Walkman, and the word Walkman will remind you of the 90s, and yes, it was 1993.
Take any hit song from Bob Marley or Shaggy or Pet Shop Boys, you can find it on the tape.
Well, she did lose the mixtape on that holiday. During her recent holiday to Stockholm, she was just as stunned as we are to spot the mixtape with all the 20 songs she had in it.
It was on display at a photography exhibition, and it seems like it was washed up on the beach in 2017, and an artist based out of the UK recovered the same. The miracle doesn’t stop there.
Mandy, the artist tape to the professional audio restores and manage to get it all just the way it was to include the same in the touring exhibition of artifacts.
Ms. Wedell read the tracklist and thought it was family, and then she compared with the picture she had of the original CD from 1993 with the same tracklist.
She also shared how she did not like the first two songs because it was too cold even back then for a 12-year-old.
She wrote an email to Mandy Barker regarding the same, and now it has been decided that it will be continuing as a part of the exhibition, after which it will be returned to Ms. Wedell.
