Infidelity is normally grounds for divorce but for this unusual couple from Cecil, Arkansas it set off a chain of events that led them down a road that they never expected.
Joey and Crystal Triplett had been married for 12 years when Crystal developed a relationship with a 23-year-old woman named Jamie who she met at a shop party.
Joey, who is a part-time police officer, suspected something was up but his wife finally admitted that she and Jamie were a couple. Instead of getting angry, Joey actually gave his blessing.
Just a few months after Crystal informed Joey about their relationship, Jamie moved in with the couple. But that was not the end of this unusual arrangement because eventually, Joey admitted that he and Jamie also shared feelings for each other.
Ironically enough, when Crystal found out she was quite upset and jealous and it took some time for the triad to find their bearings and adjust to each other.
Admittedly, there are challenges to their relationship because there isn’t a “how to” guide for these types of things so they have to pretty much play it by ear.
However, the important thing is that they’re all putting in the work to make the relationship successful. Even Joey’s and Crystal’s son Jamison has come to accept Jamie into the family and even takes to calling her mom or Mommy Jamie.
