Businesswoman, Lauren Boebert, who burst out on the national stage when she was confronted with Robert Francis O’ Rourke, Democratic presidential candidate in Colorado over his anti-gun proposal, announced that she is running for US Congress as Republican.
She will be running in the 3rd Congressional District in Colorado.
The 33-year-old entrepreneur is the owner of the Shooter’s Grill and Rifle, which has gained a lot of buzz for its staff carrying firearms.
She confronted Robert in September when the candidate was increasing political polarization throughout the country with the declaration that he would cease all semi-automatic firearms from law-abiding citizens of the country.
Bobet replied that Gun-owning citizens of the country who have heard your speech heard what you had to say about the fact that authorities are taking the protective gun.
Moreover, in an interview with the Daily Wire, Lauren says that she has experienced growing up with no money and had learned the value of work and the conservative principle that today make her successful and inclined towards the Republican Party.
She further adds that she is elated to be a part of Democratic Reps with Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Rashida Tlaib and wishes to be able to be a part of their campaigns against their opponents.
She believes that the ideologies of these opponents are the biggest threats to the United States of America.
She believes that her interest in politics comes from a personal level. She started reading about the constitution and started imbibing the rules in her life. She began to stand up for herself while empowering others.
Her life path is what prompted her to join the republican party. She has also been involved in church and counseled women at the jail and assisted them in becoming independent and self-sufficient.
