Some heartbreaking and outraging pictures have once again made their way to social media as the old female elephant that was being forced to walk in the parade in Sir Lanka we law the last time, has collapsed now.

Yes, new pictures of the same malnourished female elephant that is too old have covered the internet again as this time the pictures show her collapsed and fallen to the floor with people watching the poor girl in the awful state she was in.

70-year-old Tikiri, was one of the 60 elephants that were forced to take part in a parade in Sri Lanka to celebrate the Buddhist faith.

Her picture went viral after an animal rights group called Save Elephant Foundation, shared her picture in a Facebook post, asking people to pray for her as she was being forced to work in such a condition.

The poor girl had to arrive early in the evening and stayed there till late night every day as she had to walk for 10 km. Just so that people cannot see her frail body, she was covered in costume entirely.

The colorful costume entirely covered her body and the huge mask covered her face, not letting the audience and the bystanders look at her face and her tears.

The next picture that showed up of Tikiri shows how after a lot of exhaustion, the poor baby girl collapsed and fell down to the ground with people looking at her including her master.

Now the entire world can see who she had been working and what it resulted in.

It s high time we understand that animals have lives too and even if you cannot help them live a better one, don’t be a part of ruining it.
