Rapper Fetty Wap’s daughter Lauren has passed away at the age of four.
The heartbreaking news was shared by Lauren’s grieving mother Lisa, also known as Turquoise Miami, on Instagram.
Fetty, whose real name is Willie Junior Maxwell, is best known for his songs My Way and Trap Queen.
According to reports, Fetty has six children by five different women. The names of his other children are Aydin, Zaviera, Khari, and Eliza.
Lauren is his fifth child.
While there had already been claims that the young girl had passed away, it wasn’t confirmed until this weekend when grieving Lisa shared a heartbreaking video on Instagram.
“This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius,” the mother wrote as little Lauren was seen playing in swimming pool.
“If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself “I love you LAUREN” because they say that souls can feel your love #rip,” she added.
Fetty also seemed to acknowledge her daughter’s death during his Sunday performance in Miami.
He wrote at that time: “LoLo daddy did that s**t for you last night baby girl.”
In October last year, Fetty paid tribute to his late brother Twyshon Depew after he was shot in New Jersey.
“I love you lil bro my twin … R.I.P… I failed you bro I’m sorry,” he wrote. “I keep calling ya phone and you won’t pick tf up and that s**t never ring 3 times now it’s straight to vm I love you lil bro I really thought I could get you out before I ever had to make a post like this lil bro like wtf.”
It is not clear if any suspects have been arrested in connection to Depew’s death.
