The matter that a 16 years old teenager Greta Thunberg brought to light by constantly revolting against it, global climate change became an issue that the world leaders have finally started to look up for.
After several strikes for the campaign Fridays for Future, where thousands of youngsters from around the cities took out the strike against the government of several countries to bring them to awareness for climate change.
The change has begun and it has made the world leaders look for a solution finally. Mayors of about 50 cities flew from around the globe into Denmark to discuss the ways to address Global Climate emergency.
In a weird statement to notice, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was the one who said that the end of the world will come within the next 10 years if the airplanes keep flying and the cows keep farting as the woman who is a party member from America, took a plane to arrive in Denmark.
The Democratic socialist congresswoman who was present to attend C40 World Mayors Summit, in Denmark on Sunday celebrated her birthday on the same day.
After the summit, writing to her Twitter account she posted how she loved the day as her birthday because she spent it fighting for the future and made it to another year doing the same.
She said “This inspires me to see so many communities working together on the green deal. This gives me hope that we will be able to save the world and that people are finally aware of what harm we have caused to our mother earth.”
Another leader said that it was a great initiative for so many Mayors from around the world to come under one roof to discuss what is the best way they can all deal with the issue in their own land and home.
