It is really sad to see people killing someone over petty issues.
How could someone’s anger turn into violence over a small matter? We all should control our anger and never try to harm someone because, in the end, we will have to pay for it.
The same happened with a man who was stabbed to death in a fight over a popeyes chicken sandwich. A small fight which turned deadly that one man took the life of the other one without even thinking twice.
The two men were waiting in a line at an Oxon Hill Popeyes and one of the men in front of him in a line for ordering chicken sandwiches, Prince George’s County Police Department spokesperson Jennifer Donelan said at a press conference.
They both started arguing outside the restaurant and one of the men stabbed the other, according to police. The 28-year-old victim was from the Washington area, police said. He was taken to hospital where he passed away less than an hour later.
Jennifer said that the police is still looking for the suspect and have called on him to surrender.
“Our homicide detectives are hard at work on this one, but we have been able to determine preliminary that this is related to the release of the sandwich here at this restaurant,” Jennifer said.
“For you to get that angry over anything for that type of anger to develop into this type of violence is a very sad and tragic day, And that person needs to turn themselves in.”
Popeyes resumed selling its chicken sandwich after its first release few months back. The meal was quickly sold out after its debut and the company temporarily removed it from the menu but after the popular demand to its supply selling out by the end of that month.
